  • ‘The Witcher’: Kim Bodnia Joins Season 2 Of Netflix Fantasy Drama

As production on the second season of The Witcher continues, the Henry Cavill series has now added actor Kim Bodnia to the cast in the role of Vesemir. He served as a father figure of sorts to Geralt at Kaer Morhen, which was a training ground for Witchers as part of the School of the Wolf, the order of Witchers to which Geralt and Vesemir both belonged.

"I am so thrilled to welcome Kim Bodnia to the cast of The Witcher", said showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich in a statement. Variety brings word that Kim Bodnia will portray a major character from the books in the next season of The Witcher. Vesemir was one of few who survived the assault on Kaer Morhen, which was attacked by those who believe Witchers to be abominations.
