Whilst this will be Symonds' first child Boris Johnson already has at least five children with his various partners over the years.
The Prime Minister has announced he is engaged to Ms Symonds and she is expecting a baby in early summer.
Since then they've remained loved-up, 55-year-old Johnson reportedly gushing to friends about his wife-to-be.

31-year-old Symonds, a former Conservative Party head of communications, also shared the news in a post on her personal Instagram account, writing: "I wouldn't normally post this kind of thing on here but I wanted my friends to find out from me".
She was barely visible alongside Johnson during the general election campaign, choosing to canvas for ruling Conservative Party candidates separately.
The pair have been living together in 10 Downing Street since July and have even adopted an adorable dog, Dilyn.
The couple's unusual home address could make childcare arrangements more challenging, yet the couple could still opt for a nanny or the ocassional help of a relative such a Ms Symonds' mother Josephine Mcaffee, a successful lawyer.
This is also the first child that Symonds and Johnson have had together.
