Citroen's super-cheap Ami electric city pod needs no license

French automaker Citroen has revealed the Ami - 100% electric vehicle for Europe that costs just about $6000 (around ₹ 4.76 lakh).

How much will it cost and when is it coming to the UK?

The new Ami EV is no different. That's the most conventional way. Alternatively, Citroen is willing to reduce the subscription to $11 a month and then 30 cents per minute as part of a auto sharing program managed via app. The vehicle costs a pint-sized €6,000 including Value-Added Tax or it can be purchased with just €2,644 down and a minuscule monthly payment of €19.99 for 4 years (both include VAT). And if you're really old school, you can buy one outright for €6000 (around £5000). This year, Citroen has come up with a new urban mobility solution accessible to everyone: compact, protective, 100% electric, without driving licence, and affordable. But there are no plans yet.
