Public Health England delays third-round FA Cup games

Using the prestigious FA Cup competition that takes place this weekend, the film, which stars current and former players like Frank Lampard, Harry Maguire and Callum Hudson-Odoi, urges fans and players and others to "take a minute" to consider their mental health.
The film will be played across stadiums, broadcast and social media as kick-off times across all Emirates FA Cup Third Round fixtures are delayed by 60 seconds from Saturday (4 January).
"The Emirates FA Cup is a competition for everyone - for clubs big and small - and we want to use its power to help show that we all have mental health and that we can all take a minute to focus on how we can start to improve it".
It's hoped that the initiative will raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health, with 60 seconds representing just the first step in the journey to improved wellbeing.
Heads Up, which launched last July, is meant to use soccer to "spark the biggest ever conversation around mental health", according to the FA's website.
Heads Up activities are running throughout the 2019-20 season, across all levels of the game in England, and the FA Cup final will be dedicated to the campaign in May.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the football community together in an important conversation about how we can all take care of our mental health, starting with a few simple actions", said Duncan Selbie, chief executive of PHE.
