Kitty become so popular among Katy's fans that she actually appeared in the "I Kissed a Girl" music video.

Katy Perry is mourning the loss of her beloved pet, the cat she named Kitty Purry.

The 35-year-old songstress shared the heartbreaking news that her furry friend, Kitty Purry, died over the weekend.

"Kitty Purry crawled through my then-boyfriend's window 15 years ago, fully pregnant and seeking shelter", Katy wrote.
