The performance titled Astronomical will take place on Thursday (April 23) at 7 pm ET within the actual game.

Adding: "Arriving before Astronomical, we're excited to announce that Travis Scott is the newest addition to the Icon Series". Players can download his Outfits, Emotes, and more starting April 21.

Fortnite and Travis Scott Present: Astronomical is a live in-game gig, which will allow players to watch the Houston rapper perform some new material. The latest event is Astronomical featuring Travis Scott.

Entry will begin 30 minutes prior to showtime, so players can situate themselves at their preferred locations.

More than 100 people have been arrested for allegedly beating three men to death in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. Thackeray said, "As per my information, the seers were on their way to Surat in Gujarat during the lockdown".

This isn't the first virtual concert, though. Those who attend any of the Astronomical events will be able to access the Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free. But being fashion-forward and over-the-top is part of Scott's style.

The Travis Scott/"Fortnite" team-up comes at a time when the live music industry has been ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic, with some not expecting large-scale concerts to resume anytime soon, perhaps not until 2021.

Some players managed to figure out that the Travis Scott concert was coming before the initial announcement. Last year, "Fortnite" put director J.J. Abrams live into the game to introduce a less-than-60-second clip of his then-upcoming film "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"; before that, it had already promoted other large cultural events involving "Avengers: Endgame" and the National Football League, among others.

"Fortnite" remained the biggest game of the year for 2019 in terms of revenue, raking in an impressive $1.8 billion - a decline of 25% off a record-setting $2.4 billion take a year earlier, according to research firm SuperData. Expect to see it as popular as an event for Scott, especially with everyone being stuck at home. Scott has a reputation for creating playful live experiences - his concerts are known for their carnival-like trappings.
