President Donald Trump went off on an extensive Twitterstorm Sunday night, demanding whistleblower laws be changed after a whistleblower complaint was filed by Dr. Rick Bright. "We don't yet have a national strategy to respond fully to this pandemic".
"The best scientists that we have in our government who are working really hard to try to figure this out aren't getting that clear, cohesive leadership, strategic plan message yet", Bright told CBS.
Bright is a leading vaccine expert who said in a formal whistleblower complaint to the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) earlier this month that he was removed from his position at HHS in April in retaliation for questioning the administration's promotion of untested Covid-19 treatments like hydroxychloroquine.
"This whole Whistleblower racket needs to be looked at very closely, it is causing great injustice & harm", the president tweeted. "I hope you are listening", Trump tweeted to Collins. "Until they get that, it's still gonna be chaotic".
The interview, the first since Bright testified before Congress last week about the government's response to the coronavirus, comes as more states reopen during a pandemic that now has almost 1.5 million confirmed cases in the United States and at least 88,000 deaths. Bright said he was moved to a lower-ranking role at the National Institutes of Health.
Twitter announces that employees can work from home forever
Dorsey also said that Twitter's offices would not reopen until September 2020 at the earliest, according to BuzzFeed News . Social media site Twitter has said employees can opt to continue home working "forever" after the Covid-19 crisis eases.

Canadian air force plane crashes, one dead
The RCAF has announced that they are working on "determining the status of our personnel and supporting emergency personnel". Resident Annette Schoneville told CBC that she witnessed the jet crash as she was having coffee with friends nearby.
Bright added: "I have been trained my entire life to recognize these outbreaks and recognize viruses".
During Sunday's "60 Minutes" episode, Bright told Norah O'Donnell that he recognized the signs of a potential pandemic in January and raised his concerns during a meeting led by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar.
In his appearance on "60 Minutes", his first public comments since testifying before the House last week, Bright pushed back against Trump's claims that he is merely a "disgruntled" employee. "I am frustrated at a lack of urgency to get a head start on developing live-saving tools for Americans".
"I'm frustrated at our inability to be heard as scientists".
