Kylie Jenner recently took to Twitter and lashed out at Forbes over an article that accused her of faking her way to the billionaire status.
Forbes named KylieJenner a billionaire a year ago making her the younger entrepreneur with that distinction, however, the financial publication has since stripped Jenner of her billionaire status.
In January, the media personality sold 51% of Kylie Cosmetics to the publicly traded beauty company Coty for $600 million, a deal that put a hefty $1.2 billion value on the brand.
The business magazine even claimed that the Kardashian-Jenner family went to great lengths to "inflate" the size and success of her business by "inviting Forbes into their mansions and CPA's offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged".
In a scathing article published overnight, Forbes accused the young cosmetics mogul and her family of spinning a "web of lies" and providing them with false information about her earnings.
Jenner responded to Forbes's retraction of her billionaire status on Friday in a series of tweets saying, "What am I even waking up to". Kylie said that there were inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions.
The newly obtained documents also revealed the fact that Kris owns a small share in Kylie Cosmetics, which decreases Kylie's shares in her company to 44.1 per cent compared to her previously acknowledged 49 per cent, according to Forbes.
According to Forbes, there were discrepancies in the tax filings that were provided by Jenner/Kardashian clan and that her business Kylie Cosmetics was not as huge as they claimed it to be. Like actually what am I reading? If the sources of The Sun are to believe, "Kylie Jenner has fallen out with momager Kris over claims she lied about Kylie's $1billion worth".
Forbes on Friday suggested that Jenner's November sale to Coty alerted them that something was amiss.
In vindicating themselves from any of the blame, Forbes stated "Of course, white lies, omissions and outright fabrications are to be expected from the family that perfected-then monetized-the concept of "famous for being famous".
But Jenner doesn't seem bothered by the story: "this is literally the LAST thing i'm anxious about right now".
