  • Scientists have found clean air on Earth

Weather and climate are complex processes connecting each part of the world to every other region, and with climate changing rapidly as a result of human activity, it's hard to find any area or process on Earth untouched by people.

In a first of its kind study, a team of scientists have revealed that the atmospheric region in Southern Ocean that surrounds Antarctica has remained unchanged despite human-related activities around the globe.

The cleanest air in the world is located above the Southern Ocean, near Antarctica, according to a study that measured the composition of the air in the area.

Led by Dr. Sonia Kreidenweis, a group of climate scientists from Colorado University was curious to see just how far particles produced by human activity could travel.

The team combined wind data for the region with analysis of other samples collected from the ocean and atmosphere surrounding the main test site to track the origin of the particles in the original reading. I mean, unless you're heading far, far south. As a result, the researchers concluded that this particular region in the Southern Ocean has the cleanest air in the world, primarily since it hasn't been affected by human activities yet. There are not any traces of waste, fertilizers, or fuels. It is as clean as possible, and somehow still exists here on Earth.

The scientists took samples from close to the surface of the ocean as well as from the atmosphere high above. The remote Southern Ocean is far enough from most of human civilization to have escaped much of our pollution. They studied the makeup of the microbes that were found as to where the air was in the air, which can offer an idea.

Havertz would seemingly have to accept a squad depth role as there's no room in Manchester United's midfield for him. I can't say he will be the best German player ever, but he has the talent and there are no limits.

Research scientist and co-author of the study Thomas Hill explained that "the aerosols controlling the properties of SO (Southern Ocean) clouds are strongly linked to ocean biological processes, and that Antarctica appears to be isolated from southward dispersal of microorganisms and nutrient deposition from southern continents", he said in a statement.

"It suggests that the SO (Southern Ocean) is one of very few places on Earth that has been minimally affected by anthropogenic activities", Hill said.

It is nice to hear about the natural processes of the earth that humans can not destroy for centuries. You have to wonder how long it will be before someone decides to bottle that air and sell it at Walmart checkouts for 99 cents.
