Sha Sha whose real name is Charmaine Shamiso Mpambiro won the 2020 BET Viewers' Choice: Best New International Act award previously won by Eddy Kenzo, Sho Madjozi, Sjava among other top Africa n stars.

The Blossoming star came out tops competing against Rema from Nigeria, Celeste and Young T & Bugsey from the United Kingdom, and Hatik and Sracy from France.

Her chances of clinching the award were very skint, but she was already a victor because the nomination in itself was a big endorsement of her music.
