The notorious prankster, responsible for Borat and Ali G, left members of paramilitary group Three Percenters red faced-after sneaking into one of their Washington events in costume.

Cohen dressed up as an overweight hillbilly, complete with a fake bushy ginger beard, taking to the stage to perform an offensive, racist song.

Needless to say, it was a somewhat unwelcome surprise to organisers when Cohen - dressed in a red skivvy and blue overalls, fake beard, and a enormous hat - proceeded to play a song that referenced a number of far-right and racist conspiracies, from the coronavirus being a hoax, to it being created in a lab in Wuhan, to threatening to "inject [Obama] with the Wuhan flu".

According to reports from The Daily Beast, Sacha wore overalls and fake facial hair as he sang about Former President Barack Obama, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the World Health Organization, and the "Wuhan flu". Inject him with the Wuhan flu... "Hillary Clinton, what we gonna do?" The crowd, which held signs like "Stop tyranny, defend freedom" cheered Baron Cohen's lyrics and anti-Semitic jabs (the "you-know-whos") and anti-Asian taunts ("nuke 'em like we used to do"). "W H O what we gonna do, Chop them up like the Saudis do".

Matt Marshall, a founder of the Washington Three Percenters, a far-right militia group that has previously organized gun rights rallies, said in a post on Facebook that Baron Cohen presented himself as the leader of a group that wanted to co-sponsor the rally.

The crowd sang back to Cohen repeating the lyrics to him.

There's a good chance Cohen pulled this prank for Season 2 of his Showtime series Who is America?-but we'll just have to wait and see what else the comedian has up his sleeve.

The organizer said this "sponsor" also organized security, who then prevented others from cutting the power to the stage.

The councilman also claimed the crowd turned on Cohen and security whisked him away in a waiting ambulance.
