Prominent filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Vasan Bala joined stars like Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Radhika Apte, Radhika Madan, Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Richa Chadha in sharing a T-Shirt slogan that Rhea wore on Tuesday as she entered NCB office for interrogation. She will remain in custody till September 22.

The Narcotics Control Bureau swung into action when WhatsApp chats retrieved from Rhea Chakraborty's phone revealed conversations around procuring drugs, allegedly for Sushant.

A total of nine people have been arrested till now by the NCB with seven directly linked to this probe, while two were arrested when the investigation was launched under criminal sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Television channels showed Chakraborty waving to the media before getting into a police auto and exiting the NCB office in Mumbai. She even took the names of 25 top Bollywood celebrities who were consuming drugs and their links to the Bollywood drug cartel.

The actress Rakul Preet Singh is among the many other celebrities from the film industry who have shared posts on their respective social media handles to seek justice for actress Rhea Chakraborty.

Meanwhile, Rhea in an unexpected gesture waved at the media before boarding the van that took her for a medical checkup. She said, "Sabko message do, plants lagao".

"We will oppose bail to her".

At the hospital, her antigen test for COVID-19 came out negative, officials said. Whatever she told was sufficient for the arrest.

Jain said that NCB did not recover any contraband from her.

The agency had said that linkages of Parihar with the earlier registered i.e., based on the preliminary enquiry on the details submitted by ED, were found.
