Mat-Su schools close Monday due to positive COVID-19 cases

The same day Potter announced Liverpool High School main building would be closed and students there would switch to remote learning on Monday, Baldwinsville Superintendent Matthew McDonald said C.W. Baker High School would remain open despite a student there testing positive on Friday.

Liverpool school officials said they are still waiting for more information from Onondaga County health officials.

Also represented on the tour were members of the Barbados Union of Teachers and the Barbados Secondary Teachers' Union.

Primary and secondary contact tracing was conducted, and the Ministry of Health and Wellness was satisfied to report that the primary contact tracing was 100 per cent complete.

A "thorough and deep cleaning" in all areas of the school was done, including the administrative block, classrooms, specialist areas, and the pavilion.
