Lynch, a defensive end/linebacker who announced his retirement from the Jaguars and the National Football League in retired August, was reinstated from the Jaguars' reserve/retired list to the team's exempt/commissioner permission list on Wednesday.

The veteran, who has six National Football League seasons under his belt, had signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars in May but retired in August, citing personal reasons.
