The Barca icon has confirmed he has returned a positive test for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating in Belo Horizonte.

Former Brazil playmaker Ronaldinho said on Sunday he had contracted coronavirus but had no symptoms.

Ronaldinho - who was twice named FIFA World Player of the Year - took to Instagram to reveal the details of his diagnosis.

The 40-year-old former Ballon d'Or victor retired in 2015 after an impressive stretch in Europe, where he won two titles with Barcelona and another with AC Milan.

The Brazilian became one of the most iconic figures in football history over the course of a playing career which lasted 17 years.
