Hamilton, a six-time world champion who claimed the 90th race win of his career on Sunday, wore a T-shirt with the words "ARREST THE COPS WHO KILLED BREONNA TAYLOR" on the front, and "SAY HER NAME" above a photo of Taylor on the back, before the race and at the podium ceremony. The shooting has sparked months of protests with calls for the officers to be charged over her death and Taylor's name has spread to protests against racial injustice around the world.

Arrest the policemen who murdered Breonna Taylor', could be read on Hamilton's shirt. Auto-racing is a sport that is typically dominated by white drivers, so Hamilton's success is certainly historic, for a plethora of reasons.

Hamilton won the Grand Prix from Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas and first-time podium finisher Alex Albon of Red Bull.

Victory at the Tuscan GP means Hamilton is now one short of equaling Michael Schumacher's record of 91 race wins in F1.

"It was all a bit of a daze".

'It was like three races in one day, ' he said after the race.

As F1's only black driver, Hamilton has championed the sport's "end racism" campaign as well as being a prominent voice in the Black Lives Matter Movement. "Just incredibly tough today", Hamilton said.

President Trump's campaign website hacked
Despite the hackers' claims, there was not immediately any indication that classified or personal information got exposed. In their message, the hackers claimed to have confidential information on Trump and his relatives.

From NBA and National Football League players having different names on their jerseys to Naomi Osaka's face masks bearing the names of men and women killed by police, some of the biggest names in sports have been doing their bit to throw their support behind the Black Lives Matter movement.

She was one of a number of victims of incidents involving police violence in the USA whose names have become rallying cries for equality and justice.

"It took me a long time to get that shirt", he told reporters afterwards.

She was a medical worker and was killed in her own home.

"And they're in the wrong house, and those guys are still walking free and we can't rest".

While one of the officers involved has since been dismissed, and two others have been appointed to administrative duties, no criminal charges have been brought against any of the three officers.

Hamilton said that he would continue raising awareness of social injustice and police brutality using the Formula One platform. "I think she's an incredible inspiration with what she's done with her platform", Hamilton said. The German team indicates that this action by Hamilton has nothing to do with politics, but with making human rights known.
