Chadwick Boseman passed away in August 2020 following a long and silent battle with colon cancer. Putting Boseman Way in substitute of 42nd street is likely a reference to the film 42, where Boseman played baseball legend Jackie Robinson, who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Spider Man: Miles Morales is no different. The game was released on November 12 and received positive press reviews with 85 points on Metacritic.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales includes a tribute to two Marvel Titans, Chadwick Boseman and Stanley, and a heartfelt message to the King of Wakanda. Released in 2013, the film launched Boseman into stardom and led to a bevy of other leading man roles like Black Panther. His honor, strength, and compassion will resonate with future generations.
