Le collectif Sleeping Giants a annoncé ce jeudi 19 novembre que Décathlon avait pris la décision d'arrêter d'acheter des espaces pubs à la chaîne Cnews. Et qu'elle envisageait de le faire aussi pour 2021.

" Les marques achètent des emplacements des mois à l'avance, et sont souvent surprises d'être associées à des programmes qui ne correspondent pas du tout à leurs valeurs ", indiquait l'an dernier le collectif Sleeping Giant à 20 Minutes.

Une information que Decathlon a confirmée sur Twitter. "En effet nous avons retiré nos publicités de CNEWS en cette fin d'année", a sobrement déclaré l'enseigne qui n'a toutefois pas précisé si cet engagement était bien motivé par la volonté de lutter contre les discours propagés par la chaîne. "Propos susceptibles de tomber sous le coup de la loi", "manquement à l'honnêteté": l'émission de CNews "Face à l'info", où intervient Éric Zemmour, ne "peut pas continuer à être diffusée dans sa forme actuelle", a notamment estimé ces derniers jours le comité d'éthique du groupe Canal+.
