Ducati Panigale V4 SP unveiled with a 113hp engine

The 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 has been revealed, and just like the Panigale V2, it too gets Panigale V4-inspired styling and updated tech.

Besides the exterior Ducati has also equipped the new SuperSport 950 with a six-axis IMU that monitors the bike's lean, pitch, and yaw which further controls the new cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie control.

Powering the 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 and 950S is the same 937cc L-twin engine which now complies with the stringent Euro 5 emission regulations. Starting with the SuperSport 950, Ducati has introduced a host of visual updates on the bike which make it look more similar to the Panigale V4. It gets triangular headlamp pods with LED daytime running lights and tiny vents on either side. As before, the base model uses a 43mm Marzocchi fork and a Sachs monoshock, while the higher-spec "S" version features Ohlins at both ends. Colour options are two and they are Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk (S variant only).

The fairing now also extends all the way to the exhaust endcan to cover the belly of the bike for a more up-to-date look and clean lines and a new 4.3-inch TFT dash is surrounded by the plastics and is used to control the bike's new electronics package and three riding modes; Sport, Touring and Urban, plus an electronic up and down quickshifter. The new Panigale V4 SP (limited edition), visually set apart by its new and bespoke Matte Black "Winter Test" livery, borrows heavily from the Superleggera V4 to be a cut above the 2021 Panigale V4 S. The SP then gets carbon fiber rims and other carbon fiber bits, which aids in dropping unsprung mass, and also aids in decreasing the moment of inertia for quicker handling. Another addition on the Panigale V4 SP comes in the form of adjustable rider footpegs.

Under the hood, it packs a Euro 5-compliant 1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale engine that comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Ducati is offering a full racing tool kit with the Panigale V4 SP.
