Nadal's wait rolls on as Medvedev tees up Thiem showdown — ATP Finals

Nadal snuck an early break and behind some strong net play, hung on to a first set win. Medvedev squandered a point for a 5-1 lead and paid the price as Nadal hurtled back to stand on the brink of victory.

Medvedev is yet to drop a set and maintained his unbeaten record with a 6-3 6-3 victory over Diego Schwartzman, who did not win a match on his debut.
