State reports five COVID-related deaths in Collin County today, Friday

The Wayne County Health Department is advising all schools in their jurisdiction to transition to remote learning due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. All counts, except for hospitalized cases, are compiled from the TDSHS website.

192 patients are now hospitalized for COVID-19 in the Northeast Region of Hospitals, which is up by 4, however, the percentage of ICU beds in use did go down 1% to 85%.

Four new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 23 in Jackson County. Those totals do not include the city of Detroit, which reports its own numbers through their health department.
