Apple working to bring Xbox Series X controller support to iOS, Mac

But not to forget it did take some time for this to happen and we can only expect that Apple doesn't take another year to roll out support this time.

It's unclear why it doesn't work already, but the new controller adds Bluetooth Low Energy connections that should help it save battery life once it's working. Apple recently put somewhat of a wrench in those plans after updating its app guidelines to say that catalogue streaming services like xCloud must still offer each game as its own separate download. The controllers can control the early releases from Apple's Arcade and the App Store.

Apple has announced that the company is working with Microsoft to bring Xbox Series X controller support to its devices. Starting today through December 3, you can take advantage of up to 55% discounts on over 700 games including the brand new Control Ultimate Edition, FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21, National Basketball Association 2K21, and Watch Dogs Legion.

Meanwhile, other Made for iOS (MoI) Bluetooth controllers that are compatible with Apple devices include Razer Kishi for iPhone, SteelSeries Nimbus+, Rotor Riot wired game controller and more.
