Football Association to Probe Preston's Fisher Grabbing Sheffield's Paterson Genitals During Game

The Football Association is set to investigate a freaky incident in the EFL Championship where Preston North End defender Darnell Fisher appeared to grab the genitals of Sheffield Wednesday's Callum Paterson.

Video of the play showed Fisher got super close to Paterson. and then Fisher suddenly grabbed Paterson's junk. The incident between Fisher and Paterson took place in the 62nd minute of the match between Preston and Sheffield Wednesday, and it was not picked up by the refereeing team.

Paterson was clearly upset by the move - he looked over at the ref to see if the official was going to say something to Fisher - and that's when Fisher cupped Paterson's genitals yet again.

The FA are investigating the incident but Fisher is still able to play at the moment, and he started against fellow Lancashire side Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

The shocking video of the same has been doing rounds on social media in which Fisher could be seen touching Paterson's private parts- once with either hand- at a corner during his side's 1-0 victory.

In Rugby Union, England's Joe Marler was banned for 10 weeks for a similar incident earlier this year, so Preston may now be without the defender for the rest of the year.
