Matthew, 51, has been dating the 29-year-old literary manager since 2018, and although they keep their romance out of the spotlight for the most part, Molly did take to Instagram on Valentine's Day this year to gush over her beau.

Speaking to People magazine, he confirmed: "I made a decision to get engaged".

The actor proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Molly Hurwitz, just before America's Thanksgiving holiday. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time".

"I chose to get engaged", the funnyman told the outlet, adding his classic twist of humour: "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time". "HVD to my favorite", she wrote on her private Instagram account.

The two even spent the holiday season together previous year.
