Nepal spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who recently signed a deal with Big Bash League franchise Hobart Hurricanes, has tested positive for Coronavirus after developing body ache in the last few days.

Sandeep Lamichhane wrote that he is recovering from the infectious virus and hopes to resume the cricket activities soon. He revealed this in an Instagram post, in which he said he has experienced body aches since Wednesday, and that he has now gone into home isolation.

Having previously featured for the Melbourne Stars, Lamichhane was to play his third season for the Hurricanes for who it comes as a big blow with his participation in the upcoming edition now in jeopardy. "Its my honest duty to tell you all that I have been tested positive for COVID-19", he wrote on Twitter.
