Drake has previously expressed his willingness to play Obama.

In a recent interview on 360 With Speedy Morman with Complex News host Speedy Morman, Mr Obama, 59, gave his support to Canadian rapper Drake to play him should an opportunity arise.

Smiling, Obama admits that a few movies have already been portraying him, which he "hasn't watched the whole" of but has seen clips from. When asked specifically if he'd be okay with Drake playing him in the movie, the 44th president praised the actor and musician, seemingly giving the possible casting the greenlight.

Obama added, "Drake has, more importantly I think, my household's stamp of approval".

Obama recently released his new book A Promised Land, which details a lot of his political life, including being a Senator from IL, his famous 2008 presidential campaign and subsequent presidency.
