  • Report G Herbo charged with wire fraud conspiracy and identity theft in federal court

He has been named in a federal fraud case brought in MA alleging he, his music promoter and other members of his crew used stolen identifications to charge more than a million dollars' worth of exotic services over a four-year period.

The 14-count indictment cites Herbo, legally known as Herbert Wright, III, and eight other defendants, claiming they purchased private jet charters, exotic vehicle rentals, and designer puppies. They referred to the stolen information in coded messages as "cards", "moves" or "joints", according to the charges.

The indictment is reportedly centered around the use of stolen credit card information and personal identities that were obtained from the "dark web" or other unnamed sources. He also faces an additional charge of wire fraud.

According to Pitchfork, Antonio "T-Glo" Strong has been identified in court documents as the ringleader.

The federal filing also names Southside Chicago rapper Joseph "Joe Rodeo" Williams and alleged co-conspirators Steven Hayes Jr., Demario Sorrells and Terrence Bender. Strong, who was arrested by federal authorities in Chicago on September 25, is facing a wire fraud charge as well. A judge ordered him to be transported to MA.
