National Lottery ridiculed for consecutive PowerBall numbers

The numbers for Tuesday's PowerBall lottery were five, six, seven, eight and nine while the PowerBall itself was announced to be 10.

Twenty lucky players hit the jackpot and won 5.7 million rand (£277,000) each.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday's lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $231 million with a cash option of $180 million.

Based on that, it only recommended that the operator educate the public on the odds of winning and how its random number generator system works.
