What is Ohio State's ranking in the CFB Playoff?

One week ago, Ohio State was ranked No. 4 in the Week 12 College Football Playoff Rankings and had a clear path to their fourth playoff appearance.

That doesn't mean anyone should get comfortable (except maybe Alabama).

Ohio State had to cancel its game at IL last week because of a spike in COVID-19 cases in the program. If the Sooners reach the Big 12 Championship Game against the Cyclones, that would provide each of those two-loss teams a quality opponent to make one final statement for playoff inclusion.

In September, the Big Ten revealed "a ninth game for all 14 teams during a newly created Big Ten Champions Week the weekend of December 19".

Forget the ranking for a second, is Ohio State playing this weekend?

The scenarios that follow which include Ohio State in the top four assume the Buckeyes either qualify for and win the Big Ten title or still finish 6-0 because of the additional opportunity during Champions Week, even without the conference title.
