Bruce Willis is addressing backlash after he was spotted in a Rite Aid in Los Angeles without a face mask on.

Willis, 65 left the pharmacy making no purchases and was photographed exiting the store empty-handed.

"It was an error in judgment", Willis told People.

Bruce says that everyone should "continue to mask up", especially with the health crisis in California that reached 2 million coronavirus cases, and 930,000 in Los Angeles County.

The actor has since released a comment about what happened.

At the time of this reporting, mask-wearing is mandatory in all public indoor spaces in California.

A paparazzi agency said an employee at the pharmacy asked Bruce to cover up his nose and mouth with a bandana hanging around his neck, but he "refused".
