The company unveiled the new concept vehicle in a video as a part of its virtual keynote presentation, which had Chief Executive Mary Barra reveal the futuristic flying auto along with a family friendly Cadillac electric shuttle.

Alyssa Healy takes exception to Team India’s ‘jail hotel’ complaints
The Queensland government has allowed 50 per cent crowd capacity at the Gabba for the series decider. The Indian team arrived in Brisbane on Tuesday but they have been put under hard quarantine.
The conceptual design for the autonomous electric drone includes four rotors and a 90 kWh motor. "You've been at the office and now you need to get to a meeting across town, the Vertile meets you on the roof and drops you at the Vertiport closest to your destination". The first concept is a high-end, egg-shaped (or toaster-styled!) personal autonomous vehicle (PAV) that drives itself (think Westworld Season 3 vibes) and the second is a sleek single-seat, electric verticle takeoff and landing (eVTOL) creation straight out of Blade Runner.
Other automakers, including Toyota Motor, Hyundai Motor and Geely Automobile, have previously have shown concept aerial vehicles as part of their future planning.
GM's VP of Global Design, Michael Simcoe, explains that its goal is intended as "a social space for a group of friends or family to spend time together on their way to a destination". It features fore and aft sliding doors and a panoramic glass roof.
'This is a special moment for General Motors as we reimagine the future of personal transportation for the next five years and beyond'.
