Josh Duhamel is in talks to star opposite Jennifer Lopez in the Lionsgate romantic adventure " Shotgun Wedding", replacing Armie Hammer in the lead role.

Now Duhamel is in talks to head to the Dominican Republic to star as J.Lo's onscreen husband-to-be in Shotgun Wedding, which revolves around an engaged couple experiencing doubts about marriage as its whole wedding party is suddenly taken hostage.

"Given the imminent start date of 'Shotgun Wedding, ' Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision", a production spokesperson said. Well, it seems that Lionsgate has wasted little time in finding a replacement as it's been reported that Josh Duhamel is now in talks to step into the role.

GitHub admits 'significant mistakes were made' in firing employee
The January 6 riot attracted a wide range of extremist groups who displayed a variety of hate symbols and imagery. GitHub ended up hiring an outside firm to investigate the matter, it said in a blog post published Sunday.

As for what Shotgun Wedding holds in store, the movie will follow Jennifer Lopez's Darcy and Tom, the character Josh Duhamel would play. Many believe that Armie Hammer's departure has to do with a social-media scandal after direct messages were leaked that found the actor describing fantasies that included sexual slavery and cannibalism. "I'm not responding to these bulls- claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I can not in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic", the actor said in a statement. "Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I'm grateful to them for that".

If the Transformers actor signs on, director Jason Moore hopes to begin production as planned in February. The series is expected to debut later this year.
