Sitting at a table after the Celtics' Tuesday morning practice, Robert Williams looked and sounded relieved as he took part in a video conference interview with Boston media.

Tuesday was Williams' first practice back after his COVID-19 quarantine.

Unlike many athletes, who have test positive, but have avoided symptoms, Williams admitted he had some rough days.

"I woke up in sweats", he described. "I'm glad to say it went well". "I'm happy to be back".

"At first it was just strictly they didn't want me to do anything", Williams said.

"But staying away from the team was a hard time for me, I'm not going to lie". He tried to drink plenty of fluids and keep up with regular eating habits, but otherwise couldn't do much. It's all I know.

Williams' teammates did their best to help keep his spirits up.

"Even the players that didn't test positive, we were all checking in on each other every day within the group text message, just telling people to stay safe, stay healthy, check in on people's family members", Williams said. "It's a lot of team effort put into that which I thank my teammates for checking in on me too, obviously, because it was a tough time". Williams said his daughter and his daughter's mother each tested positive "a couple days" before he did. Williams anxious more about. "They're over it now. It's gone. My daughter, she didn't really show any symptoms; still playing around, still running around, you know, but I had to keep an eye on her".

The Celtics got Kemba Walker back Sunday when he made his season debut versus the New York Knicks.
