  • Joe Exotic has limousine waiting outside prison, convinced Trump will pardon him before leaving office

Joe is now serving a 22-year sentence behind bars after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against rival Carole Baskin but Love is convinced Joe will be freed.

"If I have ever looked up to anyone it would be you", Maldonado-Passage wrote in a letter to the president in September.

Though the bulk of Trump's pardons are said to be going to various supporters and hangers on who dirtied their hands to further the President's grift, Exotic - the focus of the insanely popular Netflix documentary series Tiger King - is also remarkably firming as a likely candidate to be freed with one of Trump's final Presidential acts.

With Joe Biden's inauguration taking place tomorrow (20 January), Trump has just hours left in the Oval Office and is expected to dish out around 100 pardons.

"We have good reason to believe it will come through", Love told Metro.co.uk "We're confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison".

In response to the potential pardon, Carole Baskin told Insider: "Tigers are the world's favorite animal and Joe Schreibvogel Maldonado Passage is right where he belongs".

"As soon as we get the word, we're going to execute that video to the White House and thank them", he said. So Joe's got to have that platinum done, and well that's what we got - hair, wardrobe and makeup.

If he is freed, Joe Exotic will be taken to a luxury ranch in a secret location to "decompress", be medically evaluated and get his hair styled before returning home to his husband.

Lil Wayne is expected to be on Trump's final list of presedential pardons, according to reports.

Lil Wayne pleaded guilty last month to possessing a loaded, gold-plated handgun when his chartered jet landed in Miami in December 2019.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who is facing 18 espionage charges and looking at a maximum of 175 years in prison, is reportedly not on the president's list.

When asked about why he believes Donald Trump will issue the pardon, Love said that he thinks the president is aiming to overshadow Joe Biden on his last in office.

Lil Wayne appeared to support Trump during last year's presidential campaign when he tweeted a photo of himself with the president and said he backed Trump's criminal justice reform program and economic plan for African Americans.

The sources also said a pardon was not expected for Bannon, who helped Trump win the 2016 election and was a senior White House adviser.
