Dominion Will Conclude the Jurassic Franchise

If children who are born today are going to be presented with six Jurassic Park films, you hope that parents will buy the whole pack, that they feel like they are seeing a long story.

From "The Lost World" right up to next year's "Jurassic World: Dominion", the franchise has gone through peaks and valleys, but now it looks as though it may be coming to an end.

According to Digitalspy, Trevorrow also revealed that 'Jurassic World: Dominion, ' which wrapped filming in November 2020, will reportedly act as a "culmination" of the entire series.

Trevorrow explained that, though the original Jurassic Park trilogy seemed more scattergun in its approach, Dominion is going to retroactively tie them together as one cohesive story.

"It's important to me, out of respect for the writers who are continuing to expand and create, to recognize [Camp Cretaceous] as clearly its own story and its own show", Trevorrow said.

Colin Treverrow quoted that Jurassic Word: Dominion will be the culmination of one story while they all celebrate the successful and iconic franchise. Treverrow further stated that if they are allowed to tell a story further, they will keep weaving in for a larger story even in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion.

"What these movies are is changing in a way", Trevorrow added.

The Jurassic World movies have been a mixed bag so far.

To help sell this "one long story" vibe, Dominion will feature the return of Jurassic Park trilogy stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. Goldblum briefly appeared in Fallen Kingdom too. Wanting a proper summer blockbuster release, it has now been pushed back to June 10, 2022, when Universal and co. feel quite certain that pandemic concerns will be behind us.
