In the trailer, Lois and Clark lose their reporting jobs at the Daily Planet.
The CW has released a brand new Superman & Lois trailer for their newest Arrowverse series, providing us with more new footage of the titular couple as they deal with two angsty children while also trying to save the world. The idea of Superman passing on his gifts to his kids was touched upon in 2006's Superman Returns, but with a full television series, the concept of Clark imbuing the wisdom he learned from his father to his sons seems pretty ripe for exploration.
The CW recently confirmed, via Deadline, that Superman & Lois will premiere on Tuesday, February 23, with a 90-minute premiere. With Superman & Lois set to dominate that evening's programming schedule, The Flash season premiere has been pushed back a week, and will now air at 9 PM Tuesday, March 2. The biggest revelation from the trailer involves Clark finally telling his kids, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin), about his secret identity, and they don't exactly take the news well.
Emmanuelle Chriqui also stars in the series as Lana Lang, with Erik Valdez as Lana's husband Kyle Cushing, and Dylan Walsh as General Samuel Lane. The adults aren't the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle's rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette, "Wander Darkly"). Of course, there's never a boring moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois' father, General Samuel Lane looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment's notice.

Meanwhile, Superman and Lois' return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger (Wolé Parks, "All American") enters their lives.
Superman & Lois is created and written by The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing.
A new adventure for the Man of Steel and Lois Lane will begin with an expanded 90-minute premiere on February 23rd. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros.
