We've had a pie in the sky, slime in space and now the first ever haggis has gone high above the Earth! That's equivalent to almost four times the height of Everest, or 3.5 times higher than a jumbo jet flies!
That's almost four times as high as Mount Everest.
Across the country people will be celebrating Burns Night.
Butcher Simon Howie teamed up with space research firm Stratonauts to launch the haggis, which was attached to a weather balloon so it could soar 20 miles above Earth.
Howie says once COVID-19 restrictions allow it, the two companies plan to host workshops in Scottish primary schools to encourage students to study science and technology.
Mr Howie said he wanted to start the year by "lifting the spirits of the general public" and was thrilled to work with Stratonauts "to take Scotland's national dish to new heights".

NBA's Caris LeVert Undergoes Successful Cancer Surgery, Full Recovery Expected
The Indiana Pacers announced guard Caris LeVert underwent successful kidney surgery on Monday and is expected to make a full recovery.
Lewis Campbell, Stratonauts director, said: "Launching from Dunning was challenging due to the winds as we needed to ensure a safe retrieval of the footage and of course the "space haggis" itself".
How far did it travel?
In a bid to share the spirit of Scotland far and wide, the Original 454g Simon Howie Haggis took to the skies on the most attractive clear winter day, taking off from Simon Howie HQ in Dunning before travelling over Stirling, Falkirk, Edinburgh, and the Pentland Hills before its safe landing in Lauder. Flawless conditions! After reaching over 107,000ft with views of at least 250 miles, the haggis then fell to Earth at almost 200 miles an hour before the parachute took over - meaning it is also probably the fastest haggis in the world too!
What happened to it after it landed?
The haggis was collected and taken back to where it was made but after its awesome journey it is now too special to eat so it is being kept safe because it is the "first haggis in space".
