Officials said that Thomas Edward Caldwell, Jessica Marie Watkins, and Donovan Ray Crowl had allegedly set up training for urban warfare and riot control in preparation for the January 6 siege shortly after then-President-elect Joe Biden's election victory and had allegedly briefly discussed bringing weapons into Washington, D.C., by boat. The six new people arrested this week are indicted alongside three others who were charged last month with plotting to undo President Joe Biden's victory.
In a superseding indictment on Friday, the U.S. charged six people allegedly connected to Oath Keepers - Ohio residents Sandra Ruth Parker, 60, and her husband Bennie Alvin Parker, 70, Graydon Young, 54, of Florida, Kelly Meggs, 52, and his 59-year-old wife Connie Meggs, also of Florida, and Laura Steele, 52, of North Carolina.
Six more people linked to the far-right Oath Keepers militia group have been indicted on charges that they planned and coordinated with one another in the attack on the U.S. Capitol, authorities said Friday.
The three others on the indictment were charged weeks ago: Jessica Watkins, Donovan Crowl and Thomas Caldwell allegedly used Facebook messages and a walkie talkie app to communicate during the attack.
In a Facebook post in late December, Kelly Meggs posted a message about the upcoming January 6 rally: "Trump said It's gonna be wild!" It's gonna be wild! He called us all to the Capitol and wants us to make it wild! He wants us to make it WILD that's what he's saying. "Sir Yes Sir! Gentleman we are heading to DC".
More than 200 people have been charged so far for their roles in the Capitol riots that left five people dead and caused members of Congress to flee.

Sandra and Bennie Parker appeared in a federal court in OH on Thursday and were released on bond pending their next appearance in a federal court in Washington, DC An attorney for Sandra Parker declined comment.
The Parkers, as well as Graydon Young, Laura Steele, Kelly Megs and Connie Meggs, now face a conspiracy charge, as well as counts for aiding and abetting the depredation of government property, obstructing an official proceeding, and entering a restricted building or grounds. Her husband stayed outside during the attack but assisted by "staying in communication with members inside the Capitol", according to an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent's affidavit. Attorneys for the others could not immediately be reached.
"I'm sure they're not on us see some pics but no militia", Bennie Parker responded.
On Jan. 9, Watkins told Bennie Parker by text she thought the Federal Bureau of Investigation was only interested in people "who destroyed things", according to the complaint.
"I wouldn't worry about them coming after us", she said in a message to a friend days after the attack, according to federal documents filed this week.
