Following the use of violence against pro-democracy protesters in Myanmar by the military, Facebook has deleted the main page of the Tatmadaw, another name for the country's military.
The media and residents witnessed almost 100 security personnel made up of soldiers and riot police in more than one dozen army trucks deployed on Sunday.
Hundreds of people had gathered for a rally at a shipyard in Mandalay which is Myanmar's second largest city.
U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said the United States was "deeply concerned".
There were reports of sounds that resembled gunfire. Some journalists also fled after being hit by tear gas and slingshot projectiles.
An injured man is carried by rescue workers in Mandalay after protests against the coup on Saturday.
State media made no mention of the deaths but blamed demonstrators for the affray and said protest leaders had been detained.
The military says one police officer has also died, and blames protesters for instigating violence.
Elsewhere in Myanmar a memorial ceremony for Mya Thwate Thwate Khaing, (MYAH TWAIT-TWAIT KANG) the 20-year-old protester who had been shot in the head at an earlier demonstration.
The authorities have continued arrests that began on the day of the February 1 coup, when Suu Kyi and members of the government were detained.

The woman was shot on February 9, two days before her 20th birthday, at a protest in the capital Nayptitaw, and died Friday. Many people, including her relatives, mourned her death at the funeral on Sunday.

The spokesman repeated Tokyo's calls for the release of ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other detainees and Myanmar's early return to democratic governance.
The measures should block the direct and indirect supply, sale, or transfer of all weapons, munitions, and other military-related equipment, including dual-use goods such as vehicles, communications, and surveillance equipment, as well as the provision of training, intelligence, and other military assistance, HRW said.
Police also used force in arresting protesters in the northern state of Kachin on Friday. The Kachin ethnic minority has always been in conflict with the central government, and there has been an intermittent armed struggle against the army there for decades. The election outcome, in which Suu Kyi's party won by a landslide, was affirmed by an election commission that has since been replaced by the military.
The military says a new election will be held after a state of emergency is lifted, with power transferred to the winning party.
"We condemn any violence against the people of Burma and reiterate our calls on the Burmese military to refrain from violence against peaceful protesters. the United States will continue to lead the diplomatic effort to galvanize the global community into collective action against those responsible for this coup", spokesman Ned Price said in a press briefing on Friday.
The coup was a major setback to Myanmar's transition to democracy after 50 years of army rule that began with a 1962 coup.
