Trump is reportedly upset that the committees are backing Republicans who supported his impeachment.

The three fundraising committees are the largest and most prominent fundraising vehicles for GOP members of Congress and emerging candidates that have been endorsed by the party apparatus.

Trump has waged a war of words with establishment Republicans, some of whom he feels betrayed him by joining Democrats in impeaching him.

The RNC had sent out two fundraising emails Friday, asking supporters to donate and add their name to a "thank you" card for Trump, Playbook reported.

"President Trump will ALWAYS stand up for the American People, and I just thought of the flawless way for you to show that you support him!" the email stated. "As one of President Trump's MOST LOYAL supporters, I think that YOU, deserve the great honor of adding your name to the Official Trump "Thank You" Card.' A follow-up email was sent hours later to 'President Trump's TOP supporters" warning of a deadline of 10 hours to get their names on the card", the Playbook report said.

According to Politico, GOP insiders said it was "impossible not to use Trump's name", as he boasts enormous popularity with the party's base and with the low-propensity voters that fueled unexpected Republican wins in many Congressional races across the country in 2020.

While Democrats were more likely to vote by mail than Republicans in 2020, it didn't actually help win the election because they were equally less likely to vote early in-person or on election day, the study found.

However, an advisor to Trump disagrees with such a sentiment.

A Trump adviser told Playbook that "President Trump remains committed to the Republican Party and electing America First conservatives, but that doesn't give anyone - friend or foe - permission to use his likeness without explicit approval".

A civil war has erupted within the Republican Party, with establishment figures such as Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell eager to put Trump in the rearview mirror, and others, like Trump ally Senator Lindsey Graham, believing the party's future depends on the energy of the pro-Trump base. "It's going to unite and be stronger than ever before".
