The province's top doctor has said he would like to see "well below" 1,000 daily cases before Ontario lifts the stay-at-home order.

"I understand people are really exhausted, they're frustrated, but we need to sort of hunker down for this last two weeks so that we can actually open things up like golf courses and soccer pitches and so on in June, July and August and have some what of a normal summer. We'll hunker down, keep wearing our masks so that we can open up some of these outdoor facilities for sports enthusiasts and we can get kids back for at least 30 days in June to their classroom", said Watson.
"We do need to see more empowerment and capacity amongst family doctors to help their patients get vaccinated and to be able to administer in office when feasible", Dr. Samantha Hill said.
"I do think these things are possible". The rollout will be informed by the work of the Children's COVID-19 Vaccine Table and will provide access through multiple channels to support vaccinating this group, including mass vaccination clinics, community or school pop-ups, and pharmacies. There are now 1,582 people hospitalized in the province with 777 in intensive care units.
Ontario is reporting 2,362 new COVID-19 cases and 26 additional deaths on Friday.
The West Allis Farmers Market requires vendors to wear masks, and its website states masks are strongly recommended for customers. An order signed by President Joe Biden also remains in effect requiring masks for domestic and global travel.
