The numbers were reported Saturday in a limited update on the province's COVID-19 website.

The province's seven-day rolling average of daily cases is 309.

There are 360 Albertans now in hospital with COVID-19, down 13 from Saturday, while 96 of those patients are in ICU, down nine from Saturday.

In Alberta this week almost 65 per cent of the population has received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of June 4, more than 66 per cent of Albertans eligible to get the jab have had one shot - 3,013,555 doses in total - from Alberta Health Services, a pharmacy, or a doctor's office.

It says they allow the lifting of all restrictions in early July while other provinces, including British Columbia and Ontario, won't reach that milestone until September. "As more Albertans continue to step up and get vaccinated, we can all look forward to brighter days ahead".
